Poultry research conducted by our poultry research facilities worldwide is directed at the generation of knowledge on feed ingredients (including new additives) and formulations to facilitate efficient, animal and environmentally friendly production of safe, high quality poultry meat and eggs. Some examples of the technology generated by Provimi's Poultry Research group include: in ovo testing of bioactives; developing biomarkers to relate changes in gut microflora (bacteria) to bird health and the production of safe meat and eggs. The use of Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy to diagnose and define problems with wet litter (sustainability).
